Kaitlyn Domingues,
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Pronouns: She/her/hers

Service Areas: Alberta and Ontario

Availability: Accepting new clients

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn (she/her), and I’m passionate about the in-between moments - the space between what is “right” or “wrong,” “good” or “bad,” where what’s familiar no longer fits and the path forward is still unfolding. I help clients explore these spaces with curiosity and compassion, creating room for uncertainty, self-discovery, and new possibilities. For many, that may mean exploring identity, making career or life changes, reimagining relationships, or reconnecting with parts of themselves. Together, we slow things down to untangle what feels complicated, notice what truly matters to you, and find ways to move forward that feel authentic and aligned with your values and goals.

I am committed to helping you navigate forward by creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where you feel you can show up as your most authentic, messiest self. I don’t see therapy as a place to “fix”, but as a space that can hold both the hard and the hopeful. Where we can explore your challenges and uncertainties, celebrate your progress, and make space for joy alongside the work.

Welcome to therapy – it’s rarely neat, often surprising, and a place where you don’t need to have it all figured out.

*I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live, learn, and play across Canada, exploring the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee Peoples in Tkaronto (Toronto), the Coast Salish Peoples in K'emk'emeláy̓ (Vancouver), and now the sacred lands of the Îyârhe Nakoda people of the Rocky Mountain here in Moh'kinstsis (Calgary).

I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative and evolving relationship. It’s informed by and adapts to your needs, pace, and lived experience. My work is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for the wisdom you already carry. Using a trauma-informed lens, I draw from Emotion Focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, and somatic-informed practices, blending them in ways that feel most supportive for you.

My practice is rooted in non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, and culturally aware principles, recognizing how factors like race, gender, and sexual orientation shape our identities and experiences. I approach therapy with the understanding that our lives don’t happen in isolation and that they’re shaped by relationships, culture, and the systems we live within.
